Clients (also known as principals) can be companies or private individuals.
Registering Clients
Clients are registered under "Companies" or imported collectively when starting with MOCO.
The optional Google extension allows for faster registration of companies.

In the client's submenu (1), you will find all relevant listings.
Address Management
The client master data is designed for invoicing. The address and email you enter for the client should be the billing address. This is because invoices are generally sent to a fixed address and are impersonal. The billing address at the client level can be overridden in the project under "Invoicing" or in the invoice itself. Postal addresses are less significant within MOCO and can be placed in the "Additional Info" field or added as a data extension through a custom field.

In Proposals, you select the contact at the top right for the recipient. The address and email from the contact are then automatically set. Often, proposals within a client go to different contacts.
Notes & Files
Below the client details, under "Notes and Files," information and files (e.g., a contract) can be stored for the client for traceability. This forms the history.
"Further Options" in the client form (Edit - 2) should be noted – these include advanced details and settings that are less relevant for initial registration. For example, discount, cash discount, custom footer text, different hourly rates (a new tab appears by choice - 3), invoicing note, debtor number, etc.
Data Enhancement, Labels (Tags)
With Custom Fields, master data can be individually supplemented or expanded. With Labels (1), categorization or marking can be done. Examples of applications can also be found in this topic area under Organization.
Tagging or labeling can be done per company – or collectively after selecting multiple companies.
Labels as well as Custom Fields are also included in the export and are useful for further individual evaluations.

Client = Supplier?
If a company is both a client and a supplier, currently, two companies are created in MOCO for this purpose.

Suppliers can be exported as an Excel file using the corresponding icon at the top right export (2).
Labels and Custom Fields are part of the export, which is useful for individual evaluations.
Other Companies
A company that is neither a client nor a supplier is referred to as an "Other Company" in MOCO. For example, this could be a company you are in contact with regarding an inquiry but have not yet secured a project commitment.
Other Companies are recorded under "Companies" or imported.
If you wish to "sort out" clients, they can be reverted from "Client" back to "Other Company". All invoices and archived projects remain intact.

Assignment to a Company
- Contacts are automatically listed with labels under the client or company.
- The address of the associated company is adopted (in the background) if no other is specified directly for the person. The name is inserted on the second line (unless otherwise preset for the client – see the small blue link below the address field).
- Automatically assigned to groups like "Clients," "Supplier," etc.
Personalisation
Contacts can be assigned to proposals and invoices. The recipient's address, email, and salutation are then taken from the contact. All information on personalisation
