Short-Time Work, Time Tracking, Documentation: Export with All Relevant Figures.

When short-time work is registered, the company is automatically obliged to record hours. Due to the obligation to provide evidence, hours must be documented. If you use time tracking in MOCO, all the basics are already in place.

Time Tracking as a Prerequisite for Short-Time Work

Hours Worked in MOCO
a) Record all hours on projects (all daily efforts – including internal)
b) Use the optional working time tracking, which determines the number of hours through tracking start and end times minus breaks (a clock-in mechanism)
Whether the total hours worked (= "Actual") are tracked as recorded hours on projects or as working time tracking (start, breaks, end) is decided by the company in the settings.

Target Hours in MOCO
Each employee has a weekly model with target hours per day. Recorded absences are automatically deducted.

Calculating Work Shortfall (Switzerland & Austria)

Target hours minus absences and hours worked result in the work shortfall. MOCO displays this difference in hours. During the months of short-time work, the monthly target-actual automatically determines the work shortfall in hours.

To neutralize the negative hours after short-time work, the difference is credited to the person in the time account with an appropriate comment.

Reduction of Weekly Working Hours (Germany)

If you want to reduce the weekly working hours from 40 to, for example, 28 hours, create a new weekly model for the specific period for the person concerned. All weekly models are clearly listed under "Personnel" > "Target Hours".

Even in the case of complete work shortfall, a weekly model with 0 target hours is recorded.

Please note: If the holiday model is "hour-accurate" active, the holiday balance may need to be adjusted (i.e., enter a balance for the time with workload 1 and one with workload 2).

Overview / Extracts for Documentation

Documentation for All Employees per Month
This is available under "Reports" > "Personnel" in the form of an Excel export. This has been expanded to include all necessary data for documentation.

If necessary, additional breakdown per day and person
A breakdown per day is directly available for the person under "Target-Actual" via the Excel export at the top right. Absences are also included there. The export has been adjusted accordingly.
