n8n – Compared to Zapier and Make
n8n is an open-source automation platform that allows users to create workflows and connect various services. Compared to Make and Zapier, which are also focused on automation, n8n offers the advantage of self-hosting options and allows deeper customization by integrating code in JavaScript or Python. While Zapier and Make focus on a user-friendly no-code interface, n8n is more geared towards developers who want to create more complex and scalable workflows. All three platforms offer a wide range of integrations, but n8n allows more flexibility in customizing and extending workflows. Since n8n charges per workflow rather than per individual step, it is often more cost-effective than Make or Zapier.

Efficiently manage projects in both tools with the help of automation. Any change in MOCO is automatically reflected in Clockify:
- Projects: Create, edit, archive
- Team Members: Assign and remove
- Services: Manage and synchronize
This saves time and avoids errors as data no longer needs to be entered twice.
Time Tracking Transfer from Clockify to MOCO and Jira
For skriptfabrik, project synchronization is the basis for employee time tracking. When a user logs, changes, or deletes a time entry in Clockify, it is also logged, edited, or removed in MOCO and Jira. The integration ensures that each employee only sees the projects in Clockify that are assigned to them in MOCO.
Employees benefit from using the convenient time tracking in Clockify. The company still has all time entries additionally in MOCO, as they are needed there for invoicing clients. Furthermore, project management can see the time entries directly on tasks in Jira and use them for evaluations, for example.
Contact Synchronization from Google Contacts to MOCO Leads
Each employee maintains their individual contacts in Google. Contacts they wish to share with colleagues are labeled and thus marked for synchronization. The goal is to synchronize contacts among employees and additionally create them as leads in MOCO.
