How does daily billing work?

Users cost 15 EUR per month. All persons listed under 'Active Persons' are counted as users. If persons are added or deactivated in the middle of the month, MOCO calculates proportionally on a daily basis. For this reason, the number of users or the amount on the invoice may be odd.

Are the costs dependent on user roles?

The costs are independent of the functions used. Access rights can be reduced or expanded at any time.

Cost control for freelancers / externals?

Users can be deactivated at any time. For example, freelancers can be activated only during working hours and MOCO will only calculate this activated time.

How does support work at MOCO?

MOCO is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) with > 40'000 users without a contract. As a product team, we personally take care of all your concerns. This has proven itself for the following reasons: Ensuring the best possible service quality. Problems and suggestions come directly to us (further development closely based on general needs). The subscription costs can be kept low for everyone. All users can contact us via the in-app service at the bottom right in MOCO. We respond promptly. Tip: Describe the request well and send a screenshot – this is the most efficient way to clarify a question for both sides!

Is there an online demo?

Yes. You can test MOCO for 30 days free of charge. The demo account can be converted into a paid account at any time.

Are training sessions possible?

Yes. On request, MOCO offers individual online sessions.

Where can I find a kind of "manual"?

On the website under » Features all areas and topics are illustrated and described.

Do you also have videos?

On our » Vimeo video portal you will find tutorials on various topics (regularly updated).

Can I also subscribe without a credit card?

Yes, MOCO can also be subscribed via SEPA direct debit. The option is only available in EURO countries. Attention: In case of withdrawal, penalty fees are incurred, which we pass on.

Do I have access to backups?

Backups are created twice a day. However, access to the backup is only possible with a Private Cloud (booking of your own server instance). Each account can regularly use the export options and if very important data has been deleted by a user by mistake, we can restore an earlier state from the backups on request. » More information on security & operation

Will I be informed about further development (included in the subscription)?

In the app, always click on the bell in the top right corner when it turns red! In addition, we send an overview of the latest updates to the account holder 4 times a year.

Can I manage two companies within one account?

If the companies are legally separate or if you need a separate invoice number range and separate reports, it is recommended to create one account per company. If persons are registered with the same e-mail address, they can simply switch between the accounts at the top right (globe symbol) .

Where can I access my subscription invoices?

All invoices are available for download in the settings under 'Subscription'. If you also provide an e-mail address for the invoice address, MOCO will automatically send the invoice to this e-mail address as well.

Case Study: Process Optimization for Our Own Consulting Firm.

These were our problems in 2020 ...

Every month, the same routine: At the end of the month, we began the tedious search for all invoices to send them to our accountant via email on time, always worried that one might be missing. We no longer wanted to feel this "thrill" and set out to find a more efficient solution.

The biggest challenges:

No comprehensive overview of proposals and invoices: The status of proposals and invoices was not transparent, requiring time-consuming coordination within the team.
Time-consuming manual search for proposals, invoices, and contacts
Inefficient handover to accounting: At the end of the month, we regularly had to painstakingly gather all invoices and send them via email to the accountant, always worried about missing one.

... and then we searched for software

In search of software for contact, project, and personnel management, we introduced MOCO in 2021. It was crucial for us to have intuitive and user-friendly software that seamlessly integrates into our daily work routine.

Achieving more efficiency with MOCO

We optimized numerous processes with MOCO, finding solutions for greater efficiency. To this day, we appreciate the improved workflows, significant time savings, and seamless usability. The following advantages have proven beneficial for us:

Direct transfer to DATEV

We clearly chose direct transfer to make our processes as efficient as possible. Incoming and outgoing invoices are transmitted to DATEV Unternehmen Online with just one click. This simplifies everything, as our accountant has immediate access without us having to search for and email the invoices.

Proposal creation

We have mapped our entire proposal process in MOCO, starting with lead creation to creating a new project from the proposal.

We were able to optimize and make the following processes more efficient:

Proposals can be edited by multiple employees simultaneously.
Service modules can be created once and reused for further proposals.
The system automatically assigns consecutive proposal numbers (no error susceptibility).
Our own corporate design can be used (professional and consistent appearance)
Automatic calculation and computation of sales tax
Proposal confirmation can be done via link
Documentation is available

Invoice creation

We also create our invoices in MOCO. After the proposal is confirmed by the client, a project is created. All times for the client are booked to the project in MOCO, and at the end of a month, the invoice is created.

The highlights of this process for us are:

An invoice can be edited by multiple employees simultaneously
The service period can be selected
The payment term is automatically calculated
The invoice number is consecutively assigned by the system
A timesheet can be added as an attachment
Overview of all invoices (transparent status: draft, created, sent, overdue, open)
Dunning process is also available

Bank interface

With the direct bank connection, we were able to eliminate a lot of manual work and save a lot of time: Instead of manually checking invoices and manually adjusting the payment status, MOCO now automatically reconciles payments – for both incoming and outgoing invoices. Additionally, there is the option to add more bank accounts to make the reconciliation even more comprehensive and efficient.

E-invoices

Managing expenditures with MOCO was not the focus of our project initially. However, with the obligation to receive e-invoices, it was a sensible moment to review, restructure, and significantly optimize our existing processes.

MOCO greatly facilitates the receipt and processing of incoming invoices in the e-invoice format, significantly reducing manual effort. A large portion of the invoices is automatically forwarded from our central email inbox to MOCO and directly recorded there – including the approval workflow.

Invoices that do not yet arrive in the e-invoice format can also be efficiently processed thanks to MOCO OCR: the relevant information is automatically read, so we only need to check individual details before the data is transmitted to DATEV Unternehmen Online.

Through the fully integrated expenditure management, we were able to significantly reduce time and labor – a real gain for our daily business.
