Direct Description for Services
Previously, an optional description was always part of the Additional service. Now, based on perceived needs, there is also a description for self-service. This brings new advantages without disrupting existing workflows. Here you can learn about the new benefits and changes.
Benefits of the Attached Description
- Capture standard descriptions directly with standard services to keep the service name short and concise.
- When moving in Proposals and Invoices, the description comes along.
- If you invoice compactly based on effort, you now have the option to include a service description (even without a Timesheet).
- Do you have a "collective project" for small on-call tasks and record a budgeted service that you invoice and then lock? Now you can directly note the agreed service scope, which should also appear on the Invoice.

For Standard Services
By clicking on the symbol (1), you can capture a description – for existing services via Edit or double-click.
In Catalogue and Proposals
Here too, you can capture a description using the symbol (1). When changing the service type, the description remains.
Transfer to Project
When transferring standard services or services from the Proposal to the project, the description is carried over and displayed under "Services for time tracking" (3).
In the Project
If needed, a description can also be captured in the project for the service (2) – particularly interesting in the context of "collective project" (see above under Benefits).
Create Invoice from Expenditures
Transfer of Description for "Compact"
An optional service description automatically appears on the Invoice. If you prefer the Timesheet, simply delete the description manually.
No Transfer for "Monthly" and "Detailed"
For "Monthly," the service description is not transferred as it would repeat each month. Use the automatically integrated Timesheet here if needed (checkbox).
Since in "Detailed," each time entry including activity description appears individually on the Invoice, the description is not transferred here either.

For partial invoices from Proposals, you can simply select the service you want to invoice, and the description comes automatically.

When creating individual invoices, you can also use the service description directly in the Invoice – or insert predefined services including service description.
